On the Attack

This year’s negative political ads are often not just misleading but in some cases vicious and personal, now account for 60% of all campaign ads according to watchdog and industry estimates.

How do you feel about this increased use of political attack ads?

With all of the negative campaigning, no wonder people become disengaged in politics. It is really a sad situation when politicians have to smear their opponents in order to win. But it will happen until we demand something better.

They wouldn't use them if they didn't work!

This is why we need real campaign reform.Publicly financed campaigns and no private money. These candidates hide behind these PACS

I think that these ads backfire with anyone with an ounce of common sense. But then again how many people still believe that Obama is a Muslim Kenyan?I guess I should reevaluate my premise.

This is nothing new?

You are much too intelligent and beautiful to believe that negative ads don't work. Remember Hillary's middle of the night phone call?Kerry's Swift Boat? Case closed

What's interesting about all the Ads period......is the amount of revenue spent. It appears the same corp. who somehow hustle money into various PACS get repaid via ADS. Just my 2 cents.

It seems as though the only one on attack is you.It is necessary by any means to convey the socialist agenda of this administration. All is fair. The truth hurts.

11. Isaac said...

Brian???#SMH There is no justification for this on the right or left.

I agree with TJ.But I am not foolish enough to believe for a hot minute that these greedy politicians would ever vote for reform.

When you have this much private money, its no doubt that the only industry making big money other than politicians and Wall Street are the ad agencies.

The real attack is on the sensibilities of the average American voter.
