End the gridlock!
Partisan politics and bickering have nearly brought Capitol Hill to a screeching halt.
What needs to happen to get Democrats and Republicans to govern in a bipartisan manner?

This age of media politicians who make their mark by being obstructionists will continue to play to the lowest common denominator. The masterful art of negotiation has been lost.Super majorities hurt the dominant party.

The Dems need to get off of their high horse. The Reps need to suck it up that the Dems are in power. Then sit down, and do what ther constituents want:inexpensive and holistic health care and jobs

Doesn't Tim Kaine deserve some blame for those blue dog democrats?seems as though Michael Steele is better than we thought. The republicans are united, even if the goal is only to say NO!

Both sides need to get a clue!!!!! If you told both side that their pay is about to be Cut by 33 - 50% for a year, I bet you that they would come together and work it out. Don't they work for the american people? Who are they trying to help? Themselves or what!!!!
They got voted into office and they can sure be voted out of office!!!!!
Politicians (Democrats and Republican) start getting a clue and get back to the table and start fixing the problem all of you law makers have screwed up for years!!!!!!!
Start acting like you know who you are working for and the concerns that all voting americans have and have expressed. Health Care and Jobs basically are not where it needs to be!!!!! It basically has been made for you, not the american people. It basically ....SUCKS!!!!, start fixing the problem, NOW and stop hiding and get to work NOW!!!!!

I was for universal healthcare,at least in principle, but the idea of me being forced to participate is troubling.I want access, not more mandates.I can barely afford my bills now.Now Congress wants to force me to take a plan they believe is affordable.Only I can say what is affordable for my family. We need fair access and the ability to choose!I support and voted for Mr. Obama, but this is not what was promised.

I am afraid that many are determined on both sides to make Obama a failure and one term president

If the democrats would galvanize,a lot could be done. Obama never had the majority of his own party behind him

This is a rhetorical question, isn't it?

It willl end if enough of us call our congress person and threaten to throw them out.

Wayne has it right. We are all busy. But how long does it take to send Congress and the President an email. We hired them but they don't believe we will fire them.

Why would we want the Dems and Reps to be alike. This country is built on checks and balances

Now you understand why i choose not to vote!

We need to vote out the gridlock.

The republicans do not want to see President Obama succeed, they rather see america fall and then they can blame it on the President. This is the script that "rush L" wrote.

Why when you do not agree with or vote against something or someone you are a obstructionists or you just want Obama to fail if my friend wants to see how long he can go without a bath I hope he fails not because I dont like him or I am out to get him I just think not taking a bath is not a good thing for him or me or anyone else. Also we need to get over the belief that the federal Government is suppose to do thing for us.
