‘Tis the Season’

It’s that time of year, when most of us will attend a company Christmas party or two. One of the few times when both the upper echelon and the real working folk are under one roof interacting, smiling and being charming to one another. Visibly there might not be an attendance sheet but there will be a mental one being taken by the so call big wheels. Considering the company dollars being spent, they will be expecting a show of appreciation with your participation.

Whether it’s a formal or informal affair, make a great impression with the appropriate dress attire. As simple as that sounds, better to fair on the side of conservative rather than too casual, trendy or flamboyant.

In fact, keep in mind that this is a company function and one’s behavior shouldn’t result in a backlash once the party is over.  By all means avoid over indulging, showing-off and showing out. These are people you work for and work along side. Inappropriate behavior or conversation can jeopardize potential opportunities within the company.

‘Tis the Season’ Enjoy the Party!
