Should the U.S. help North Korea's economy in exchange for denuclearization?

The summit between North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and the US President is scheduled to take place on June 12th in Singapore. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the United States aspires to have North Korea as a "close partner" and not an enemy. The reportedly willing to help the North Korean economy if North Korea gives up nuclear weapons.

What's your take? Should the U.S. help North Korea’s economy in exchange for denuclearization?
