Should Sagging Pants Be Banned?

Lawmakers in South Carolina recently proposed a bill banning sagging pants in public. Reportedly, the bill would make it illegal for a person to wear pants below the crest of the hipbone in public exposing skin or undergarments. The offense would not be criminal but there would be a $25 for the first offense and up to $75 or community service for additional offenses according to reports. Some lawmakers think the bill is necessary because “the pants are now being worn below the knees.

What’s Your Take on sagging pants? Should there be a ban on wearing sagging pants in public?
