How does religion and race affect your political views?

A recent poll revealed that about three quarters of Americans identify with a Christian faith. 37% of respondents identify as highly religious based on their self reports of church attendance and the importance of religion in their lives, while 33% identify as not religious at all. It is notable that almost half of those who identify as highly religious approve of the current President. 45's approval rate is 64% among highly religious whites, twice as high as it is among whites who are not religious. There is little relationship between religion and views of 45 among nonwhites.

What’s Your Take? Do you consider yourself to be religious? How does religion and race affect your political views?

Preachers need to stick to saving souls, not votes.TD jakes sold us out during the Bush administration and a group of Black preachers in Richmond endorsed McCain because Obama feels that a woman should be able to make the decision what to do with her own body
