The Legacy of Clarence Thomas and the Museum of African American History and Culture

A conservative leaning website has launched a petition to include Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas in the Smithsonian Museum of African-American History and Culture in Washington, DC. Petition signers think he deserves credit for his “extraordinary contributions to American government and constitutional scholarship.”

What has he done other than serve 25 years?

I think he should but for a very different reason. They should list every single decision cast against the welfare of people of color. The history of the sellout should be preserved to show just how important Supreme Court appointments are.

Where do all these self-righteous judges come from. He deserves to be in the museum. Some who have accomplished far less is in the museum. He is Black and he has made a contribution whether people like it or not. Judge not lest you be judged. Whew!!

Thomas has served 25 years and upheld his personal convictions. He should not be excluded because his views may be different than mine.

Sirron should understand that we should not honor those who have not honored us.Maybe Sirron could tell us what accomplishments have helped Black people????
