Harriet Tubman,Ben Carson and the $20 Bill

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew recently announced African American abolitionist Harriet Tubman will soon grace the $20 bill. Tubman beat out Eleanor Roosevelt and Rosa Parks among others by approximately 30% of the final votes cast. Former Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson criticized the decision and said that Andrew Jackson was a “tremendous president” and that perhaps Tubman should be honored on the $2 bill.

What’s your take? Do you agree with the decision to place Harriet Tubman on the front of the $20 bill?

Tubman's position on the $20 bill will provide an opportunity for inclusion. I don't think Jackson should even be on the back

A slave-owning president who forced Cherokees and many other Indian nations on deadly marches out of their southern homelands, being succeeded by an African-American abolitionist who risked her life to free others? YESS!SS
