Should Schools Distribute Condoms Without Parental Consent?

The subject of condom availability in public schools has been a hot topic in social media over the past week. A school district in San Francisco will reportedly permit the distribution of condoms to middle school students without parental consent if deemed appropriate by a nurse or social worker.

What’s Your Take? Do you support the distribution of condoms by schools without parental consent?

Yes, schools should. At a minimum it will force parents who disagree to get involved. I know its off topic, but can you share this story? "Low income workers in Birmingham, Alabama lost their $10.10 minimum wage before it even took effect. It was passed last August by the local city council, and the increase would have begun in July.

But the state legislature had its own plans. On Thursday, state lawmakers and the governor swiftly enacted a bill to prevent any individual city from implementing its own minimum wage."
