What's Your Take?

Getting a High School diploma in Arizona will now require knowing what war President Dwight D. Eisenhower was in and the 10 amendments to the Constitution. Starting in the eighth grade, students can begin taking a new civics test. To graduate, they must correctly answer 60 out of 100 questions. More than a dozen other states are considering similar laws.

What’s your take? Should students be required to pass a civics test to graduate from High School?

Not a big deal. They are expected to learn this anyway

This did not have to be done legislatively. We have SOLs here in Virginia to ensure quality and consistency of instruction.
