Studies from several sociologists at the University of Texas and at Duke University indicate that parental involvement with homework can have a negative effect on child’s academic achievement. The study went on to suggest that parent help can backfire when it involves providing instruction on homework content.


What’s your take? Should parents help their children with homework? Or do they end up doing more harm than good?
