The lawyer for a former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie loyalist said in a letter that "evidence exists" that Christie knew about  lane closures that caused four days of brutal traffic jams near the George Washington Bridge as they were happening. In a statement, Christie's office denied the allegation made on behalf of former Port Authority of New York and New Jersey executive David Wildstein insisting that he did not know about the tie-ups until they were over.

This revelation -- if true -- when added to the allegations of Gov. Christie being funny with the Sandy money, under-funding poor school districts in favor of more affluent ones, and strong-arming people who merely disagree with his views spells a troubling pattern for any politician. He needs to go...
