Shoot First and Aim Later?

Mitt Romney’s recent comments attacking the Obama administration for what he described as “apologizing” instead of condemning recent attacks on Libya and Egypt have left Republican and Democrats condemning the politicizing of a tragedy that left an American Ambassador and three others dead. President Obama says Mitt Romney didn’t have the facts right and “seems to have a tendency to shoot first and aim later.” Mr. Obama said that as president, he has learned it’s important to — in his words— “make sure that the statements that you make are backed up by the facts.”

What's your take? What do you think about the comments?

Out of touch with reality

Signs of desperation. Romney wants to be everything for everybody. He has blundered every opportunity to weigh in on foreign affairs.

His management skills and judgment are definitely in question. Who is running the trainwreck of a campaign?

This talking point is an old one from Conservatives. Peter King was on CNN repeating the same thing and mentioned President Obama apologized to France for US behavior when pressed to provide an example. His example was short on facts as is usually the case with these people. While the US Govt has plenty to apologize for, President Obama has not ever apologized for US foreign policy.

So true Scotty and Peter "Right Wing Nut Job" was stating just a few months back that Romney didn't identify with people. I guess things change. SMH

I cannot begin to understand the strategy behind his campaign.Blunder after Blunder. And he wants us to believe that he can manage the country,

His comments were reckless and spoken without thinking. He does not understand the purpose of diplomacy. He wanted to say something political suggesting that the president had done something wrong. But no president could have controlled the mob.

Comedians are having a field day!

And today, it got worse. Mr. Romney has dug a really deep hole that his entire campaign is falling into. The sad part is that a good portion of America will still cast their votes for Unfit Mitt.

Obama by a landslide.

While I agree with him that he was less than elegant in his presentation, his facts are on point.

Biz, His facts about the 47% may have some validity but interestingly the majority of the 47% are white males who tend to vote Republican. The majority of those who pay no income tax are in Red States. But since he was targeting Obama supporters and misrepresenting who these people are, you was not on point as you say.
