Larry Jefferson, known as Larry Santa, is the first African American Santa at a Mall in Bloomington, Minnesota. While African American children get to see a Santa that looks like them, the lines for Santa Larry are filled with children of all races. But not everyone supports this African American Santa. Despite the racist comments on the local newspaper and social media sites, Larry Santa continues to share the Christmas spirit with children of all ethnicities.

All eyes on Alabama. Yesterday was election day or should I say judgment day.  Alabama voters did the right thing. Let’s talk about it. Speaking of doing the right thing….Democrats asked John Conyers and Al Franken to step down…when will the Republicans ask 45 to step down? Speaking of 45….Why was he at the Civil Rights Museum in Mississippi? Has he no shame?! Have you been called the N word lately? 

The results of the mayor’s race in Atlanta had some voters on edge last week. Just ask African American local news anchor Sharon Reed who was called the N-word in an email from a viewer during her on air coverage of the election. Reed stared directly into the camera and handled the matter with class.

Former national security adviser to the president, Michael Flynn just pleaded guilty for lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russia. Flynn reportedly admitted that a senior member of 45’s transition team directed him to contact the Russians. There is speculation that the president’s son-in-law Jared Kushner may have instructed Flynn.
