The election is over and President-Elect Barack Obama will be our next president. So, why is Sarah Palin constantly in the media spotlight, granting interviews that she shunned during the campaign like the plague? Even Republican candidate John McCain has been low key.

Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin appeared out of nowhere and onto the national scene, drawing larger crowds than running mate John McCain. After several interviews and her apparent inability to clearly define the duties of the vice president on at least four different occasions, it is crystal clear to me that Sarah Palin does not possess the skills, qualifications or experience necessary to be second or first in command if the circumstance arises. In my opinion, this is a direct reflection of John McCain's judgment and what we could expect if he is elected.
What was John McCain thinking? Was he simply picking a female for the "wow factor" or was it designed to appeal to the Hillary faithful,or to recruit the bubba vote?

The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee held hearings this week into the investigation of what went wrong on Wall Street and who should be held accountable.Unlike the continuous major media play by play of the proceedings, approval and signing of the $700 billion bailout plan, the congressional hearings in the scrutiny of Lehman’s collapse and the cause for AIG’ rescue did not capture the same intense media coverage. Billion and billions of taxpayer dollars have been approved...
The presidential election has gotten very ugly, adding to the already high tensions over our failing economy and financial crisis.
What does it say about a candidate that engages in such cheap despicable attacks?
